iPad inactive – Forgot to charge the battery?
If you have a busy routine, you may have gotten caught up in your chores that when you pick up the tablet, we find it discharged.
At first, we may think it may be some problem. In fact, the solution may be the simplest of all, but we forget it for being very common: charge the battery.
Before calling Apple service or despairing, put it in the charger for a few hours and see if you can turn it back on.
Restart iPad
If your tablet lost activity while it was connected, you can try to restart it. The method depends on whether you have older versions of the iPad or the latest ones, which do not have the Home button.
On the most current iPad, hold the Power button and one of the volume buttons simultaneously. Wait for a slider to appear and slide it to turn off the tablet. After it has completely shut down, just hold the power button again to see if it is working again.
If you have an older version of the iPad that has the Home button, the method is different.
To restart your tablet, hold this button and turn it on for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Note that these issues do not have iOS 12.
iPad Idle – Constant Restart
If you tried the previous alternative and the iPad got stuck in a kind of loop that is, it is performing the same action in automatic cycles restarting all the time, the problem that left iPad idle is on battery. If you are one of those people who lets the battery charge just a little bit and tries to turn the tablet on, that may be the cause.
What to do in this situation?
First, let the iPad fully charged. The reason he got into this loop is that the battery is too low. So he keeps trying to restart, but the battery itself cannot keep the device turned on until the end.
If this is repeated even though it is fully loaded, you have two options. The first is to put it in the jack to press and press the button to restart as we mentioned in the previous item for about 30 minutes to an hour or as much as you can.
If nothing works, there is not much to do: take the iPad to an authorized service center or trigger the device warranty.
Successive errors when trying to unlock iPad
Do you have small children at home? So be careful with your iPad, because children can unintentionally disarm it.
Successful password errors on the lock screen can cause your iPad to be disabled for your safety. The first time these password errors are detected, the iPad is disabled for only one minute. If it persists, the time increases to five minutes.
If you continue to enter the wrong password, you run the risk of having the iPad idle permanently. To make your iPad recover inactive, you must return it to the factory state. That is, anything that is not saved on your iCloud service will be lost.
Have an iCloud account? Then you can use the Find my iPhone (which is also for iPad) function to remotely restore it. Access the link and sign in with your Apple ID.
Click Find my iPhone. Then choose your iPad and select iPad Format. After formatting, you can recover your files that were on iCloud and re-use it normally.
